Daily practice,
lasting memory

A simple path from reading Scripture to remembering it. Noah guides you through every step.

  1. STEP 1

    Begin with a verse

Open your daily lesson. Read God’s Word and understand it with study notes.

  2. STEP 2

    Learn it, little by little

Fill the blanks, follow the first letters, then recall the whole verse on your own.

  3. STEP 3

    Keep it in your heart

Return for short daily reviews that help what you’ve learned stay with you.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.”
— Psalm 119:105 (WEB)

What is Noah – Bible Memory?

Noah – Bible Memory is a free iPhone and Android app that helps you memorize Bible verses through short, guided, Duolingo-style daily lessons. Each verse moves from reading to filling gaps to first letters to full recall, and learned verses come back for review before you forget them. Noah also includes Bible study notes, offers WEB, KJV, ASV and BSB translations in English plus Spanish-language support, and contains no AI. It is made by Ondřej Popelka, an independent developer in Prague.

How it works

  1. Open today's lesson. Noah has your next verse ready, so you never waste time deciding what to learn.
  2. Learn it in stages. Read it, fill the gaps, recall it from first letters, then say it with nothing on screen. Each stage takes support away until the verse is yours.
  3. Keep it for good. Verses you've learned return for quick review at growing intervals, right before they'd fade.

Why people choose Noah

  • A path, not a toolbox.

Most Bible memory apps hand you games and folders and leave the plan to you. Noah gives you one clear next step every day.

  • Built for a daily habit.

Short lessons, a streak to protect and gentle animations make it easy to show up tomorrow.

  • No AI. Just Scripture.

No chatbot, no generated commentary. You spend your minutes with the text itself.

  • Context, not just words.

Study notes help you understand what you're memorizing, so it stays with meaning, not just sound.

Who Noah is for

  • You've tried to memorize Scripture before and it never stuck.
  • You have five quiet minutes a day, not an hour.
  • You left other apps because managing verses felt like homework.

Why I built Noah

I'm Ondřej, and I'm building Noah from Prague — in one of the least religious countries in the world. I kept failing at Scripture memory, not for lack of desire but for lack of a simple daily path. Every app I tried felt like a spreadsheet. So I built the app I wanted: one lesson a day, beautiful enough to open, and nothing between you and the Word.

Questions

Is Noah – Bible Memory free?

Yes. Noah – Bible Memory is free to download on iPhone and Android, and lessons are free right now. An optional premium upgrade is planned; when it launches, this page will state exactly what stays free and what is paid.

Which Bible translation does Noah use?

Noah – Bible Memory currently offers four English Bible translations: World English Bible (WEB), King James Version (KJV), American Standard Version (ASV) and Berean Standard Bible (BSB). Spanish-language support is also available.

Does Noah – Bible Memory use AI?

No. Noah – Bible Memory has no AI chatbot and no AI-generated commentary. Every lesson is built from the Bible text itself, so your time is spent with Scripture, not with a machine's interpretation of it.

Bible & Chat", which are AI-based apps.
